Not only does the composition of the lone pony and structure draw the eye in, but the textures of the windswept grasslands do as well. Somehow I can "feel" the texture of the windswept grass and the fur on the pony and I would liken it to an oil painting in which the paints are applied on heavy to give texture to the scene. This rural scene is inviting for the viewer to roam and explore.

I'd like to tell you how this makes me feel, but it's hard to put into words. It's a strong image, one that has feeling, a feeling of warmth and lonliness all at the one time.. It's a great photo.. thanks for sharing it with us (yet another :+fav: ) More... I want more
